‘Sunset Glow’

The evolving process of layering through a series of marks, where each mark is intuitively placed responding to the marks that came before. Different tools and techniques are called on throughout. This piece began abstractly, developing into a fiery evening sunset reflecting on the sea as earlier layers peep though the layers above.

Longlisted for the ArtEvol exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery in London in September 2025.
